The dog supervisors are awesome people and love working with dogs. Everyone I have met there is so friendly and warm. My dog LOVES them and is so happy to go there each morning and I am happy that we have a place where he can be cared for during the day when I am gone with people that he cares about and who care for him!
We’ve tried other day cares and boarding facilities but what they lack is Playbow’s attentiveness and care for the dogs. Because the dogs are in small play groups, the staff is able to keep an eye on each individual dog and give detailed descriptions of what’s going with your dog while you are away.
PlayBow is a doggie daycare facility that is a real cut above the rest. And trust me, I checked out three other well-regarded facilities in San Francisco before finding PlayBow. They have become part of our extended family, and if you send your pup there, I'm sure they will soon become part of yours.
They're also very forthright about what goes on at the daycare, and when I pick him up the staff give me updates on how his day was (without me having to ask!). If they noticed anything "off" about him they always tell me right away (for example if he didn't eat his lunch, or if he threw up that day, or anything else I should know about).
Playbow went the extra mile to make sure that everything was a good fit. They gave me honest feedback and discussed his strengths and weaknesses. It was what I expected would happen - he was very anxious and paced around instead of interacting with other dogs. I was bummed but they told me to bring him back for the next few weeks to daycare to give him a chance to warm up. I thought we would get turned down right away, but I am so grateful that they were willing to work with him and help him acclimate.
Putting Bailey in doggy daycare with PlayBow was one of the best decisions I've made! She is always super excited to go. Right when she gets out of the car she sprints to the door. The staff here is super friendly and transparent. I can trust them to be honest about how Bailey did that day and they also told me when they noticed Bailey had symptoms of a UTI.
I come from a long line of dog owners and I've yet to see a doggie daycare that pays closer attention to the dogs. More than once, they have noticed a slight change in Pepper's behavior and it's helped us figure out what training she needed or if she needed to go to the vet. Pepper always comes home happy and tired after a day at PlayBow.
Above all else, you can expect them to be honest about how your dog did at daycare. If something goes wrong or if your dog had a bad day, they'll let you know.
It's been over a year since I started bringing my dog to Playbow, and I can say with confidence that I trust this facility and its staff to adequately care for my dog.
